Spotty button flower card

Hi everyone, it seems an age since I last blogged but May and June has been such a busy card making time and we have just returned from Cornwall.  We were extremely lucky with the weather, we only had about an hour's heavy rain during the day all the week although it did rain during the night on a couple of occasions, otherwise it was warm with sunny periods, pleasant really considering what other parts of the country have been through.

The card below I made for a colleague's daughter in law's birthday.  It is a similar version to one Sue Wilson made in pink and black.  She was unsure what she wanted, so I showed her a few photos of different designs.

I used 8" square card
SP Anemone and daisy flower topper
M bossibilities - Elite
yellow cordinations cardstock
Spotty paper I bought from the NEC last November
buttons and ribbon from stash
SP Parisian Accents for message.

    This is really eye catching Dee ... love your colour combinations. a strong and attractive design ... Super about you holiday and missing the rain ... has your blog been down??? I have not been able to get in on a few occasions !

    Thanks for your kind comments Eileen, I think the weather has been affecting the BT lines, as my e-mail also went down a couple of times before we went away. Mind you the blogs are a nightmare sometimes aren't they, I wish they would leave them alone, you just get used to using it and they make changes.....

    This is a real eye-catcher Dee - the combination of bright yellow with the black and white is stunning, (and it reminds me of what Summer used to look like)! Love the flowers and the Nestie frame - I'm sure your friend's DIL was over the moon when she received this gorgeous card.
