A great welcome to everyone who takes a few minutes to visit my blog, and hope you will return. I started off scrapbooking, but making cards soon overtook and I really enjoy seeing the end results. I enjoy blog hopping to see the wonderful creations from other crafters, there really are some talented, friendly people out there.

Hammock lazy day birthday

Hi blog mates,
Trying to get some cards made this weekend as I have a few birthdays coming up in march for friends and family. Time is restrained at the moment as my dad collapsed yesterday morning so is staying with my sister short term until we can sort out a care package for him to return to his own home. Basically his legs gave way and are extremely weak, and it doesn't look as if they will improve, so he is going to become very exasperated.

Anyhow quick posting today using a little claire stamp for men. I made this for one of my nephews' birthday recently. Simples!! See you soon. Dee x

16th Birthday Card

Hi bloggers,
Hopy you're all well and enjoying the dry sunny weather before we get the winter streak back.
We had a busy weekend entertaining our little granddaughter whose 20 months. As you can expect she never stops, she has so much energy, I need a holiday to get over it, but so worth it.

Todays posting is a card I made a few weeks ago for a neighbours daughters 16th birthday.
I used:-
6" x 6" card
Papers I purchased from QVC ages ago sorry don't know the make!
The stamp is a freebie from craft stamper magazine
A mixture of Marianne & SB dies
Ribbon from stash
Job done.

Be back soon

Birthday Girl Stamp (Please help locate it)

Hi to you all this snowy monday evening.  No posting of my own tonight, just some help from you all...

I'm looking to all crafty friends out there to give me a helping hand.  I have been asked to make 2 - 40th birthday cards for my boss's daughter and niece.  They are very young 40's so she wants something modern.  I have come across a card that was made by a crafty blogger but I'm afraid I don't know who.  I am trying to discover whose stamp or 'digi stamp' it is so that I can create a card as I think it would be ideal for one 40th card.  This is the card below, does it ring a bell with anyone.

Please note that I am not posting this card as my own, I am only showing it for the stamp.

Can anyone out there be of help please.  I need to locate who sells this stamp pretty quick....

Hope to hear from someone with some good news.

Be back soon with a posting of my own. Hugs Dee x

A Leafy Birthday Card

A good morning everyone, it's a damp dull sunday morning here in the south of birmingham. Myself and hubby had a very busy day yesterday as we had our 20 month Granddaughter for the day. We took her to a local park and art centre as it was beautiful bright sunshine, cold but the sort of day to get some fresh air.  We took some bread and fed the ducks etc.. As there are several large pools there. She wore both us and herself out, it was smashing.

Anyhow todays card is a leafy stamp from hero art.  It's a lovely stamp which I first seen on Sandra's blog last year,  it is so versatile to use for different types of cards.  I overstamped it overlapping slightly using gold and green. Materials I have used:-

                                     Hero Arts leaf stamp
                                     Encore ultimate mettallic gold stamp
                                      Memento 'pear tart' stamp
Bits of coloured ribbon from stash
                                      6" x 6" card base
                                      Kanban sentiment from stash.

See you all soon, have a good Sunday,

Dee x
