A great welcome to everyone who takes a few minutes to visit my blog, and hope you will return. I started off scrapbooking, but making cards soon overtook and I really enjoy seeing the end results. I enjoy blog hopping to see the wonderful creations from other crafters, there really are some talented, friendly people out there.

Spellbinders flower creations and rose die cuts

Hi Again,

I would just like to thank everyone who has taken a peek at my blog, it is very warming to know that the word has got around,  All thanks to Eileen of Course! Thanks for spreading the word.. I'm also extremely grateful Eileen for your tip on my followers column being too far down the page, I have now moved this up a little.  Any hints and tips from any of you experienced bloggers would be more than welcome, as I am in the learning stages.

My posting today was inspired by a card designed by Eileen and also from Karen originally.  I have produced it in white and yellow colours.  I think they look so pretty and brighten up a winters day.

Karen do you have a blog, if so, what's it called?

Eileen, I've also posted below the card I mentioned to you that I made for my Uncle's birthday using the UTEE and melting pot.  If you remember, you were getting frustrated recently trying to create something with your melting pot and I mentioned the card I had made, but unfortunately did not have a photo to show, but when I saw my uncle recently managed to take a photo and here it is.  His hobby and passion is vintage cars and he owns a 1930's Austin Ascot and has won several first prizes at shows with it, it is beautiful.  I'm quite proud of this card it's my best effort using utee and melting pot!

Anyway, will be back soon with more goodies to show. see you shortly, by for now.  Dee xx

Feathers On The Wing of Time

As promised my 2nd posting is the birthday card I made on Tuesday for my sister's 60th birthday.  I thought the verse on the front was very apt for this special birthday.  I have treated her to a Elemis facial (and myself of course)!! so once the sale shoppers have dispersed we will have a morning of facials, followed by a nice lunch in Birmingham.

Well it's 8.30pm and we've had a busy day, so I'm going to sit back now with a nice glass of wine with hubby.  That's all for now, see you soon.

Victorian Ladies Birthday Card

Well here goes!  My very first posting on my new blog.  I finally decided to take the plunge, after encouragement from Eileen. I have been following Eileen's blog for several months now and must admit, look forward to taking a peek each evening to see what creation she has produced today!  Although I haven't spoken to you recently Eileen, many thanks for giving me the confidence to join the world of 'bloggers'.  I'm hoping lots of crafters will take a peek in to see my card creations.  I am off work now until 4th Jan so have plenty of time to spend making cards and hopefully (if they are good enough) posting them on my site.

My first posting is a Birthday card made yesterday for a friend. I used a cream card, stamping a Victorian lady matted onto a black background. A swirls stamp using black stazon ink pad, cream ribbon, flower and black gem stones.  A quick simple card for my first posting.  I hope anyone taking a peek will like it.

I will post another birthday card tomorrow that I am now going to make for my Sister's 60th Birthday.

Be back again soon.,  Hope many of you will join me.

Cheerio for now
