A great welcome to everyone who takes a few minutes to visit my blog, and hope you will return. I started off scrapbooking, but making cards soon overtook and I really enjoy seeing the end results. I enjoy blog hopping to see the wonderful creations from other crafters, there really are some talented, friendly people out there.

HELLOO..... I hope all you nice crafty people haven't forgotten me as it seems such a long time since I last posted, and I don't seem to get too much time to leave many comments on other blogs, but please don't think I've forgotten all my fantastic followers, I'm so grateful to all of you.

Well, Summer has come and nearly gone again and I hope you've all had a good summer holiday (even with the kiddlewinks) At the end of the day that's what summer is all about isn't it, spending precious hours on the beach with the children, I loved it and wish I could have ny time over again.

Well, back to crafting.... I'm posting 4 retirement cards for work colleagues who are all retiring from the health service within the coming few weeks.  They are a mixture of vibrant colours to try and lighten the mood a little.  I've used various materials from decoupage, coloured card and paper, various dies, SB, Marianne Creatables and Cuttlebug.

See you all Soon

Dee xxx

  1. Super cards, thanks for your comments, Mary x

  2. Hi Dee, Glad you've had a good summer, lovely cards too, Gay xxx

  3. Hello .... I'm back !! You have been busy!! I love colorful, cheerful cards and these are great examples of super work!

I am sure we will all keep a close eye on your blog Dee and understand that, with work and family our hobby has to remain stress free or there is no relaxation from it! I found that I was giving myself DEADLINES to blog as I had worked for years with a company who insisted the deadline 'tattoo' was always rattling around in my brain..... Huh! I soon ditched that attitude and now blog when it suits me ! As you know I am retired .... so I have loads more time than you and many others! I have great respect for women who work!

I will be posting the Tree die to you over the weekend, sorry it was;nt this week but I have been away again looking after my grandsons!!

    Spk soon

    Luv Eileen xxx

  4. Dee, they will be truly honoured by receiving these cards.

You left a comment on my blog some time ago but I too have not been very active. I get so much from seeing what fellow bloggers like you create and I must try harder to keep it up but you're right that it shouldn't be like work. Performance Management objectives and all that...NO!!
    Well done and enjoy it.

  5. Hi there Dee, thanks for popping over and really love your new name cos that is what craft is - scrumptious, yummy etc.! :D and love the cards up above too, you have been busy - oh if you want some feedback I struggle with my eyes and your print is great size but find the lime green on white really hard on my eyes.. weird I know, so dont stress might be just me. Blessings, Shaz in Oz.x
